Connected text resources for end of Phonics lessons

I am wondering what connected text resource(s) teachers use for the end of the Phonics lessons. We have utilized Read Naturally passages, a-zreading stories and old AIMSweb passages.  All of these resources take some time to locate and match to the given phonics skill, so I'd like to know if there is a quicker resource to reference.  Thanks for your input!

One great strategy is for teachers and students to build thier own sentences or short stories using the words they practiced. 

There is not a specific resource I would recommend at this point besides the ones that you have mentioned, or others like it.

Anyone else on the PRESS community board have suggestions?

I have the same question - looking for resources for connected text at the end of phonics lessons that target the phonics pattern being taught - teachers are struggling in this area.

We have also found success with Orton-Gillingham sentences and word lists.  If nothing else, there is also Tpt!

West Virginia Phonics is another great resource for passages that are aligned with a skill that we use
