If while in a classwide or small group intervention, the teacher is absent for an appt or ill, would it be expected that the Sub in the room still do the intervention? If so, does this affect the fidelity or implementation considering that the Sub has most likely not been trained in the PRESS process? Advisement, please!

One thing that I did when the teacher had a sub, was as an the interventionalist, I went in and did the intervention with the class.  They were used to the routine, so it worked just fine.
