Classwide intervention

I received these questions from a staff member and I am not sure how to answer.

Could classwide interventions be done in smaller groups to improve engagement as long as the whole class is receive the same intervention?

Would they have to be on the same word list?  Could I do the same intervention with smaller groups with different word lists?

Hi Samantha and Laurie,

Sorry, my post must not have sent!

You ask such a good question.

We have had some success doing the classwide intervention broken up into smaller groups. It could take more time in the day so that is a disadvantage. Keep in mind that all students receive the classwide intervention and they all receive the same post-assessment. Please let us know how it goes!
