Path to Reading Excellencein School Sites
The University of Minnesota is seeking special education and intervention teachers who are interested in participating in a research study designed to provide teachers with PD support to accelerate the writing outcomes for their most struggling early writers (Grades 1-3). Preliminary findings suggest that teachers who participated gained knowledge, skills, and self-efficacy related to data-based instruction, and their students showed higher writing outcomes, as compared to teachers and students in a control group.
