Reflect on your planning process for tier 2 interventions. Describe your process for determining intervention groups, preparing materials for intervention, and scheduling interventions. What is working well and what might you consider in the future?

We have a monthly data meeting where we visit about current groups and decide who needs to be moved based on FAST data and observations.  I have three paras that also work with small groups/individuals on skills from the decoding inventory.  We usually have one decoding group and two fluency groups.  We are using the data tracker and really like it!  For the future, we are thinking of changing what intervention looks like for 5th and 6th graders.  Right now we have a blocked schedule of 60 minutes for grades 2-6 and 30 minutes for grade 1.  We will be adding math next year and changing it to 25 mins for 2-6 and 20 mins. for K-1.
