I'm an instructional coach and my fifth-grade teachers are using the vocabulary intervention and loving it. They had one question about yes and no questions. They were wondering what those questions look like and how they should be written. How have other classrooms created these questions?
One thing to keep in mind with the questions is not to use harder words than the word you are trying to assess. So, simple conceptual vocabulary and not super complicated syntax is important.
