Yes, PRESS has released a 3rd edition of the Intervention Manual as of May 2019. Regardless of which version of the manual you have, you will still continue to be able to implement PRESS. If you are looking to learn more about the updates, the description below comes from the link in our online store.

Key features of the new edition include:

• Suggested enhancements for English learners embedded within each intervention
• New interventions for English learners: a vocabulary preview and a dialogic reading intervention.
• Expanded and revised section on Quality Core Instruction includes a survey and checklists for examining core literacy instruction in each pillar of reading as well as a coaching tool to help facilitate coaching conversations.

Is the 3rd addition available to us online,or is this something we need to purchase?  I am very interested in the new EL componants.

As a Premium User, you have access to coaching from PRESS Literacy Specialists. In the future, if you have a question you would like a PRESS Literacy Specialist to answer, please use the orange "ASK A COACH" button on the right side of the screen. This DISCUSSIONS board is intended for PRESS users to connect with other PRESS users.

At this time, we are not offering any printable resources related to the new EL resources. Since you have a premium account, you should have access to an eBook version of the newest manual. Since it is an eBook, it is an EPUB file, which means you will best be able to access it via an iPad or an eReader. You will not be able to print, but you will be able to read through the manual itself. You can find it by clicking on the red "YOUR LOCKER" button on the top right corner.

If you are interested in purchasing a hard copy of the 3rd edition so that you can use the intervention resources that are behind the updated EL tab, you can find that information underneath the "STORE" tab.
