I was told by a PRESS coach that the student should be able to say the word in 3 seconds or less, which leads to about 20 words. We have tried to follow that. So even though they may be accurate, they still are not "fluent" . They need to be accurate, and fluent. I have tried to stay close to 18-20 words in my groups. Hopefully that helps!

How many words per minute is expected before moving to the next level in progress monitoring? I know it's 90 percent accuracy but, how many words per minute or is it sounds per minute. I can not find this information anywhere in the manual or online.
