I read an article that recommended we do whole class intervention at the start of the year to fill in any learning gaps before we do the fall assessment. The article said for first grade to do Build a Word (Press Research Group, 2014). I am not familiar with that intervention and can't find it on the PRESS community website.
Build a Word is just another name for 2 of our decoding interventions that you will find behind the phonics tab (Phonics 3 & Phonics 4). Thanks for your question,
