Comprehension Progress Monitoring

What resources are out there to progress monitor for comprehension? I'm looking for something to check my students comprehension every 2 to 3 weeks. I have used the PRESS comprehension chart for each comprehension strategy, but would like something that give me more concrete data and is not so subjective.

Have you considered maze assessments (e.g., AimsWeb, etc.)?

Hi Chris!

Thank you for your comment. We do use Fast Bridge (CBMr, aReading, aMath), but we only do them in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.  Do you know if there is anything out there that would progress monitor comprehension every 3 to 6 weeks? I am open for trying other things along with the PRESS. The classrooms take the STAR reader test more frequently which gives me a Grade Equivalent score but doesn't tell me how they are doing on a targeted skill we've been working on.
