Middle School MTSS & Literacy: What research says is working for developing readers

  • 11/13/19
  • 12:00 PM CST
  • PREMIUM
Presenters: Beth Praska, PRESS Literacy Specialist & Anna Jennerjohn, PhD Candidate and Research Assistant, University of Minnesota This webinar focuses on striving middle school readers and how a multi-tiered system of support enhances literacy achievement for all students. Striving middle school readers must not be written off, especially since they are disproportionately students of color, English language learners, and students living in poverty. It is not too late for these students to become capable readers. Participants will consider current research of tiered systems of support in middle school and effective literacy practices for striving readers.
